This French Quarter walking tour is conducted by city licensed guides and emphasize the history, architecture, and folklore of this fascinating city. Tour and store proceeds benefit Friends of the Cabildo, a non-profit volunteer group to provide support for the Louisiana State Museum. Purchasing a walking tour ticket also gets you admission to the 1850 House Museum, above the store, that shows what life was like in a typical Pontalba Apartment in the 1850s. Restroom is provided for walking tour guests as well.

We use the VOX Whisper System. Staff is responsible for cleaning each machine. The ear and mic buds are disposable. Units will only be used once per week to allow for rotating a clean unit to guests & guides. Guests can remove mask outside during the tour, inside state law requires a mask.

We enjoyed the two hour walking tour of the French Quarter and found it informative. It's not strenuous at all - anyone can participate although it is a full two hours. Helpful to learn the history of the area. We made a point to return the following day to see the rooms upstairs at the 1850 house - don't miss doing so.

We had 3 of us along with tour guide Diane C. She is a retired teacher from New Orleans and lots of fun and energy. We had a wonderful time and learned a lot. We walked around Jackson Square and around the French quarter. I would recommend to anyone who wants a personal tour while learning a lot of history of New Orleans.

Very interesting 2 to 3 hours walking tour of the French quarter ! Charles our tour guide took us through all the history , architecture , and cultural (jazz music) sites in the French quarter . He even had a fun quiz at the end of the tour for kids and adults ! Perfect tour for the entire familly! Highly recommended !
