We enjoyed the tour. We were only 4 people. Our guide gave us a lot of tips to discover New Orleans. It was the perfect introduction to New Orleans. We really recommend it.

On a recent trip to New Orleans my partner and I went on a fantastic 2 hour walking tour of the French Quarter with Friends of the Cabildo. Our guide Rhiannon was wonderful and tailored the tour to our interests. It was clear throughout the tour that Rhiannon was very passionate about New Orleans and its history. During the tour she was thoughtful of our group, finding shade and stopping for the restroom and water. She was also respectful of the people and community around us, which after spending time in the French Quarter, it was evident was not a priority of all tour guides/companies. I highly recommend the Friends of Cabildo walking tour and Rhiannon, especially to those looking to support a non-profit organization

An entertaining and informative tour with our guide Roger. He gave us a lot of insight into the history and evolution of the quarter, making our visit that much more rewarding as we learned about the various populations that came through and left their mark on the quarter. Way more fun than just a casual stroll past shops and bars. Roger had tons of facts and stories on hand to engage us with. We left with a greater appreciation of the French Quarter, and of New Orleans in general. I would highly recommend this tour from the nonprofit Friends of the Cabildo.
