Full-Circle "Reverse" - Luxury Road to Hana Tour from South Maui

Overview
#1 We go ALL THE WAY AROUND THE MOUNTAIN so you don't see the same thing twice!
#2 We do it in REVERSE, the way the locals do it!
There are a few options to choose from to explore the Road to Hana so you can experience the rainforest & its waterfalls, streams, fresh water ponds, bamboo forests & lush foliage, but there is only one company where the owners are actually a Native Hawaiian husband & wife team that were born & raised Hawaii. We pride ourselves in sharing the Hawaiian culture, history, & stories about Hawaii & what its like to live life here in the islands, while treating you like the VIP that you are! Our family history goes back 150 years & they still live in a little community out on the Road to Hana. While on tour we'll stop by our family's fruit stand that has been operating for 40 yrs & is the home of "the original banana bread." We'll cover the rigid & rugged terrain on the backside of Maui & travel where most visitors never see. Hot lunch & souvenir backpack included.

Excellent way to see the less accessible highlights of the island. Driver/tour guide Mike provided well-thought-out narration, with lots of interesting detail, and gave top-notch service all the way. Amenities were great, lunch was excellent, and we can't imagine fitting in more within a reasonable length day. We would have liked to make a few more stops to take pictures, rather than just slowing down, but this generally wasn't feasible without seriously impeding other traffic. Having a driver who really knows local conditions was a key to the experience. The only way to see the variety of Maui's coast better would be to have your own suitable vehicle (*not* a normal rental car), and to start by sunrise and finish after dark, or have reservations to stay overnight at Hana - and then you wouldn't have the benefits of the guide's information and being able to relax while a professional driver does the work.

12/10 experience! The picnic food was amazing! The views were gorgeous! Everett was informative. I felt like this was such a genuine, comforting experience. Everett wanted to make sure everyone didn't get sick driving too fast, and he took us to the best spots along the way. I really felt like this was such an authentic experience getting to stop at local shops, and to be able to hold a baby goat at a local's farm was the cherry on top. I think it was Doug who picked us up at our hotel, and the car we were picked up in certainly was luxurious! We are so happy we went with Hawaiian Style Tours & Transportation for this activity and were really happy to support a small local business. The only advice I'd love to tell future customers is to make sure you bring a light jacket, I got a little cold on the tour van! Thank you again!

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guides, Mike and Doug, were so knowledgeable about Maui, its history and its culture. It's the only way to see that end of the island without the hassle of driving. Sit back, relax and enjoy all the amazing sights: Well worth it.
