Overview

Want to see the whole 21 miles in a day? Well this is your trip! You will conqueror rapids such as Troublemaker, Satan's Cesspool and Hospital Bar all while enjoying the fulfillment of a full day floating down the South Fork of the American. Trips meet at 8:15am and you are typically back to your cars around 4:00pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided at our riverside campground.

What an exciting day we had with our guide Marina. We went with my 12 year old and my 19 old and it was a blast. Lots of excitement, lots of fun stuff, swimming, jumping and of course going through some tough rapids (troublemaker, meat grinder, hospital bar, etc…). Marina was super nice and fun to be with. We also felt very safe. One fun fact I did not expect is that the dam upstream opens from around 09:00 am to 12:00 to make sure there is plenty of whitewater. This should definitely be on your to do list.

Safety was first and foremost on the agenda for the guides before even starting out. The entire crew was so professional and our guide made the trip exciting and informative all along the river. Our guide, Danny had so many fun facts and so much knowledge of the entire history going back to the gold rush days. The rapids were exciting and we really were in sync with our guide. He taught us what to do and how to handle the rapids as a team. It was so great! Oh and lunch, delicious fresh wholesome selections to power up for the second half that was to come. Highly recommend H2O Adventures. They stand out as top quality!
