Overview

Want to see the whole 21 miles in a day? Well this is your trip! You will conqueror rapids such as Troublemaker, Satan's Cesspool and Hospital Bar all while enjoying the fulfillment of a full day floating down the South Fork of the American. Trips meet at 8:15am and you are typically back to your cars around 4:00pm. Lunch and refreshments are provided at our riverside campground.

I raft with H2O every summer with a group of women. I've had Brandon as my guide twice now, and he's fantastic! His river knowledge, safety focus, and congeniality make him our favorite guide. H2O is always a fun time!

We had a great time on the full South Fork of the American River trip. James was a great guide. He gave clear instruction, shared a ton about the history of the river (and the region), had an endless supply of dad jokes; all delivered with a British accent. We had a blast and booked our next trip as soon as we got home.

H2O was outstanding. We are so glad we booked with them over other companies the owner Tyler was always pleasant to speak with and always remembered our names and was sure to check on us frequently leading up to and throughout or trip with them! our Guide on day one South fork was Cassidy she was amazing. very calm pleasant and knew a lot about the area and what we were doing she gave clear and precise instructions and never let us feel unsafe she made sure we were all well prepared for what was coming. On day two we did the middle fork with Kevin who was also awesome. a very laid back calm guy that was super nice to talk to and knew a lot about the area. we had a overall pleasant experience and the rapids were so much fun! i Highly recommend giving these guys a call if you plan on doing these trips if they don't answer simply leave a message they will get back to you super fast. cell service up there was spotty at best which was awesome cause our kids actually got to enjoy the whole thing with us. the camp sites are neat but we didn't stay in them as were not really camping people but if we were we would have defiantly stayed with them! Trust us you wont find a better gang to go rafting with! P.S. The photos are totally worth every penny!
