Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colterās Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Driving time from Sedona to the Grand Canyon is 2.5 hours. Driving time from the Grand Canyon back to Phoenix is 3.5 hours.
We will have two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way to the Grand Canyon and two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way back to Phoenix for a total time of 60 minutes for the 4 breaks.
