What To Expect
1
Chapel of the Holy Cross
We will visit Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a church built right into the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. On the sides and in the front, Sedona sprawls out majestically, a sweeping landscape of red rocks, trees, and nestled houses. Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte are visible to the south, and Cathedral Rock to the west. We will grab a bite to eat, and then we will head to the Grand Canyon! Driving time from Phoenix to Sedona is 2 hours.
2
Oak Creek Canyon
Oak Creek Canyon is famous the world around for its spectacular scenery. We will stop at Oak Creek Canyon Vista. Here you can get a bird's eye view of what awaits you down the road and, at the same time, shop for Native American jewelry and other craft items from the local Native American artists who set up displays along the pathways.
3
Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset. Driving time from Sedona to the Grand Canyon is 2.5 hours. Driving time from the Grand Canyon back to Phoenix is 3.5 hours. We will have two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way to the Grand Canyon and two 15 minute bathroom breaks on the way back to Phoenix for a total time of 60 minutes for the 4 breaks.

My tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and adds so much to the experience by sharing things about the whole area. It's a full day of fun and adventure. I'm so glad I did this tour before going back home to Atlanta.

Such a memorable and lovely experience from start to finish! Naala was the perfect guide, providing insight along the way from Phoenix to Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, the Navajo reservation, to the Grand Canyon and back again. She had everything taken care of from the smooth and comfortable ride, snacks, drinks, THE MOST PERFECT LUNCH STOP, the best views and timing everything down to the perfect amount at each stop. I happened to be a solo traveler on this trip and had the tour to myself, which I didn’t mind at all. Naala was such a gracious host to entertain my whims and make suggestions based on my interests. The vehicle was new, comfortable and clean. It was just the perfect trip! It was such a beautiful day that will go down as one of the most memorable and enjoyable excursions I’ve ever experienced. Thank you for such a wonderful time exploring our beautiful outdoors!
