WOW! My family & I recently did the half day kayaking adventure in the Everglades with Don. It was fabulous!!! Our kids are 11 and 16 and they loved it. We experienced things we've never done and seen things we'll probably never see again. We hiked/paddled and the information and instruction Don provided us was incredible. This trip (and Garl's in general) is well worth the money and a MUST DO if you're visiting South Florida. We wore water shoes & shorts and took long sleeved shirts. You can also take snacks and waters as they have a cooler. I would also suggest taking bug spray and suntan lotion. Don't forget your camera as you'll see wildlife galore! (birds, gators and my favorite - snakes) Would definitely do again!!

Garls was our guide for an exciting day in Everglades National park that combined hiking and Kayaking beginning at 1000 AM and ending at 9:00 pm! Garl introduced us to Gators, crocs, snakes, Roseate spoonbills and other interesting birds, airplants and other interesting plants. He is incredibly knowledgeable and observant so we learned a lot. If we ever make it back to Florida we will be joining Garl for another adventure! !

My husband and I booked the all day tour which includes hiking in the everglades, kayaking in the mangroves, and then kayaking in the saltwater. We had a fantastic time! Garls is not only extremely knowledgeable about the birds, reptiles, and plant life that you see on the tour but he is also very nice and laid back. Our experience was fun, exciting, but also laid back at the same time. He let us all go at our own pace which I appreciated. AND I highly recommend buying fruit and avocados at the fruit stand that you visit before the trip begins. The fruit is delicious and sold at a great price. I am from Illinois and had never been to the Everglades before and Garls helped us all feel at home and safe even thought at one point we were just a few feet away from an alligator!
