My wife and I signed up for an All-Day tour with Garl's on the recommendation of a Kayak Guide on Big Pine Key. Our Guide "Rainforest Don" was amazing, and shared an abundance of knowledge during the multifaceted tour throughout the Eastern section of Everglades National Park. We took short hikes to and through two Mangrove domes, where we saw many birds, exotic plants, and several alligators. We paddled in a small lake where dozens of alligators as well as an extremely long crocodile were observed, as well as many birds and other wildlife. After visiting a nesting observation site, we traveled to the Flamingo Visitor Center and set out on a two hour paddle in the ocean from the visitor's center into Snake Bight and back as the sun set. A glass of wine completed the paddle, and Don hauled us back to the Ernest Coe Visitor's Center, tired, but safe & sound. This trip is not to be missed if you have a day to explore the everglades.

My wife and I went on the full day Everglades tour, and it was fantastic from start to finish. Garl is the genuine article, who obviously loves the Everglades and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Within a few days we received a link to over 200 pictures of our day, including the flora and fauna we saw on the trip, and the quality of those photos is so much better than anything we could have captured with our camera. We've gone on several tours over the years, but Garl's tour was truly a standout experience. Our10 hours flew by too fast, and on the way back to our hotel my wife and I were discussing our next tour during a different season (we experienced the peak of dry season). Thanks Garl!

We found this activity on TripAdvisor and after reading the comments booked the half day tour. WOW, the reviews cannot do it justice! It was surreal gliding through the Everglades in the kayaks. Garl was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. Booking the tour was easy and email instructions were sent to us detailing what we should bring. Suzette even sent us the pictures Garl took that afternoon. This excursion was the highlight of our vacation. We were sorry we did not book the full day! We will definitely be back. Thank you Garl for all memories!
