My daughter & I did the day trip - 4 short hikes, 2+ hour paddle, night hike. I didn't want it to end! I've never kayaked before and loved it. Garl was extremely knowledgeable about all inhibatants of the everglades....be it beastie or plant. When I go back, I am definately going on another trip with him.

Garl is absolutely amazing. He is a local tour guide and owner of Garl's Coastal Kayaking. His tours leave you speechless, because you are kayaking next to gators, hiking near gators and snakes, and drinking wine as the sun sets in the Everglades. Do not forget to do the nightwalk, where you see gators feed at night. Truly unbelievable! This review does not even do him justice. Incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Unforgettable. This trip was by far the highlight of my Spring Break trip to the southern reaches of Florida. Garl leads you right into the Everglades to the hangouts of alligators, kayaking through the arches of gorgeous mangrove tunnels above. Looking down into the shallow water, you watch as beautiful, large Gar swim just beneath your paddle. Not only by kayak but also on foot, Garl invites you to experience the ‘real’ Everglades that most visitors to the park never see. Not once did I feel in danger, even gliding next to a 17foot crocodile; rather only the thrill of getting to be so close to such magnificent creatures in their natural home. Garl guides you to the hiding places of countless Everglades animals, knowing these parts like it’s his own backyard. Which quite honestly, in exploring the park on a near daily basis, he has a constantly updated and unparalleled knowledge of ‘who’ is where and 'where' to go so that you leave with a renewed sense of adventure and appreciation for the Everglades.
