The best tour we have ever had. Garl was amazing at pointing out all the wonder of the everglades. Our whole family enjoyed the trip and was truly a trip we will never forget. Looking back at the pictures, we think "we were really there?" When you watch one of those "nature shows" and think WOW look at that...yea that is this trip. My kids think Garl is the coolest guy ever. Again hands down amazing. Get ready to look nature in the face like you never have!! Even the half day is like a full day, so plan for a full day of adventure. Its called "Garl's Coastal Kayaking" but its more then Kayaking. Hiking the "river" of the Everglades is where we really steeped out of our world and in to Garl's world!! Thanks for an amazing adventure!!!

This was the best guided tour I have ever been on. I have been on a tour with Garl, one of his trainees and my friend. I never thought that I could be so amazed by the nature of the Everglades. We hiked through the water to a alligator hole. I literally stood right next to an Alligator. Garl always had his camera ready and took great shots. He sells the pictures for a very good and affordable price, making the adventure even more enjoyable because you don't have to worry about pictures. We saw snakes, frogs, alligators and lots of other animals. I always felt safe and well guided. Garl loves the Everglades and his passion for the Everglades infects you. After the hike, we went kayaking in a wonderful landscape. We passed crocodiles and alligators, finally sipping a wine right next to the crocodile while watching the sun go down. The tour ended with a night walk at the site where all the alligators look for food. This trip is a once in a lifetime experience and highly recommended for everyone. Garl does not worry about time, he wants your day to be perfect and is extremely willing to show you as much as he can. We did the tour on the last day of our Florida trip and it was definitely our highlight. We absolutely loved it! Thanks Garl! We will come back!

When booking this tour I had no idea that I would be taken into the everglades by a Ph.D. who had a contagious passion for this ecosystem. Our guide Don was fantastic. We saw numerous alligators, a crocodile, a beautiful assortment of birds and a gorgeous wild orchid. If you are adventurous and not afraid of a little mud you will never regret going on this tour.
