I enjoyed the slogging the most. It was more intense than I expected. The water came up to mid thigh w/ a lot of submerged obstacles. A walking stick was offered by our guide. I didn’t take it. Take it if you don’t have good balance. The experience was magical & beautiful!

The full day tour with Garl was absolutely fantastic, definitely the best thing we did on our trip, and one of the coolest tours I've ever taken. We happened to be the only people on the tour, which was cool. Garl is a great guide, super knowledgeable and great at spotting wildlife! We saw gators, crocs, sharks, manatees, sawfish, and tons of birds. We started the day slough slogging. The water was quite high but it was such a cool and unique experience to walk through the cypress. I would never have considered doing that by myself, but it was amazing. The kayaking we did after was great, with a ton of wildlife, and we happened to get really nice weather as well. I absolutely loved this trip and want to just encourage you to book now!
