My friends and I went on the full-day kayak trip. It was an incredible experience. The group was pretty small, and Garl is incredibly knowledgable about the Everglades. The trip was easy to book, and the company kept in touch until the day of the trip. Their prep instructions were helpful as well. If you're looking for an Everglades day trip near Miami, you won't be disappointed with Garl.

If I could rate this higher than 5/5 I would. It’s been more than a week since our trip and we talk about kayaking with Garl every day still. This was the most incredible nature experience I’ve been a part of. We started the day kayaking along the coast. We saw so many animals up close and personal, from manatees and dolphins to sharks and crocs. Even saw some really rare and beautiful birds and (my fav animal that day) a sawfish! The kayaking alone was 10/10 amazing and when we got back, Garl asked us if we wanted to try finding a gator or two in the “Cypress Dome”. We found ourselves (guided closely by Garl of course) waist deep in freshwater eyes peeled for snakes or gators. It was kind of scary honestly but I never felt unsafe, it was the scary kind of adventure that I’ll never forget as long as I live. I would redo this trip again and again. Can’t recommend highly enough!!

My father and I did a full day Everglades Slog and Kayak with Garl and it was a unique and worthy experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. Garl himself is extremely passionate, knowledgeable, and insightful about the Everglades and really brought a lot to the experience. He was constantly informative and is willing to tailor the experience to your interests. The slog to a alligator holes and nests was something I would have never considered doing myself and we learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the Everglades. We saw tons of marine wildlife on the kayaking portion of the trip to include numerous birds, manatees, sawfish, and sharks. The crocodiles were a bit elusive but we did get to see one towards the end. Overall a good day we we got a workout in on the kayaks as well.
