Kenai Fjords National Park
Narrated by our knowledgeable, experienced captain and crew, guests have the unique opportunity to explore remote, untouched areas of Kenai Fjords National Park with a small group. The cruise will thenĀ enter Harris Bay, where youĀ will be greeted with views of beautiful hidden coves, rugged mountains, and possiblyĀ feeding whales. The tour is well organized. The crew members are very friendly. The captain knows all the spots to find the wildlife and he stops for a while to give you time to enjoy the scenery and the wildife in their natural habitats. They have complementary binoculars for the tour. The lunch was good and they have ginger ale and dramamine to help with the motion sickness. This has been my favorite tour in Alaska. We saw 3 bald eagles, many seals and sea lions, puffins, 12 whales, many sea otters and marine birds as well. The glaciers were breathtaking...totally recommended!!!

Capt. Kailey and First Mate Zach were AWESOME! It was a rainy day, but that didn't stop the wildlife from coming out. We saw humpbacks, orcas, sea lions, harbor seals, puffins, glaciers and waterfalls. Both Capt. Kailey and Zach was extremely knowledgeable about everything -- we saw 2 pods of orcas swimming together and Capt. Kailey was able to identify the pods (AK6 and AK2) and explain the relationship between the two. Zach was always available on deck to provide small tips and trivia. For instance he pointed out a Kittlitz Murrelet -- a rare bird that only nests in rocks where glaciers used to be. Boxed lunches were tasty, but bring snacks and water with you. It is a long day on the water.
