Dress in non cotton clothing. Quick dry shorts and shirts are the best option. Secure footwear is required, you cannot raft bare foot. River shoes available at no extra fee if needed.

Salt River

It was an adventure. It was challenging. The views of nature were absolutely incredible. We would all do this again.

Out group of four had an excellent time on the river and we were lucky to have great conditions (nice water level and 3000 CFS) . The canyon itself is breathtaking and we were so happy to see it was open for trips again this spring.
The whole crew was safety oriented, knowledgeable, and very friendly.
Upon arriving we were greeted with smiles and quickly signed our waivers, permits, and hopped into our gear.
After a thorough lesson on commands and paddle strokes with our guide Gato we left shore and practiced in the water.
Gato shared her knowledge of the river and native lands throughout the whole day. She is an outstanding guide and so much fun!
We hope to catch her in Colorado later this summer.
At the end of the day we hopped out and loaded up into a bus to head back up river, it was about a 30 minute ride.
What a fun adventure, you will have a blast!
