My daughter and I did a birthday trip for her down the Salt River. We waited two years to book this as this is the first year there was enough water to raft. What an awesome trip! The rapids were fun, the scenery was great, and we got the front of the raft - lot's of white water, splashed, and excitement on several of the class 3 spots. I would recommend it for those that have not rafted before and even for those that have. We have rafted in CO, OR, WY, and this was one of the best. Book the full day trip and you'll also be treated to lunch.

This is my third trip with Wilderness Aware on the Salt River and I've always been very happy with their trips. Their guides are really very experienced and professional. They fixed a delicious lunch for us on the full day trip. I would very highly recommend Wilderness Aware for rafting on the Salt River.

Our company has quarterly outings as a part of developing a teamwork environment and to just have some fun outside of work together. We chose to do a day on the Salt River in April of 2013 and had a blast! We had 2 full rafts and our guides were excellent navigators and let us have loads of fun splashing each other's rafts!! The guides had a lot of knowledge about the wildlife in the area too. The lunch was great and a nice little break in the middle of the trip. We would definitely consider doing this trip again with Wilderness Aware. They are a great organization with great people! Would highly recommend :-)
