My son and I recently went on a 1 day rafting trip on the Salt River in Arizona. We had never been whitewater rafting before. From the first moment I contacted Wilderness Aware to plan the trip the service was spectacular. As soon as we arrived at the Salt River location, we were greeted promptly, and the guide quickly put me at ease for the slight apprehension I had going into this new experience. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. He got us ready and explained everything. The fact that the guide was able to make the trip as exciting for an adventure seeking 18 year old boy and his "old" father, was nothing short of amazing. I am very impressed with Wilderness Aware and I would strongly recommend them for anyone looking to experience whitewater rafting, regardless of age, sex or experience. It was an awesome trip. Thank you !
