Full-Day Tour: Concord Waterfall, Chocolate Factory, Rum Distillery, Grand Etang

Overview
This remarkable full-day tour, showing you the very best of Grenada in a day. See St. George's, the prettiest capital town in the Caribbean. Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. The tour would not be complete without a visit to Grenada's interior and largest national park, to see the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest.

We went with tour guide Michael Benjamin, who was absolutely amazing. He provided us with a lot of information about the islands history, and was very personable and had a great sense of humour. He brought us everywhere we asked to go, and would always stop so we could take photos or ask questions. Michael made the tour memorable. The sights we were taken to were gorgeous, lots of great views, especially for lunch with local Grenadian food with a view. Overall would highly reccommend this tour!

We recently took the full day tour with Michael as a guide. It was an amazing, informative day and we can't recommend this company enough. Michael was a brilliant guide and was able to answer our relentless questions with great patience! Equally, if he didn't know the answer, then he said so. He told us knowledgeably about the geography, climate, agriculture, politics, education and funny anecdotes about the island. We learned so much and clearly his passion about Grenada shone through. Our 'wow' moment was visiting the Atlantic coast in the north-west of the island - it reminded us of Cornwall in the UK, where we live. Thank you Henry Safari tours and thank you Michael!
