This remarkable full-day tour, showing you the very best of Grenada in a day. See St. George's, the prettiest capital town in the Caribbean. Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. The tour would not be complete without a visit to Grenada's interior and largest national park, to see the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest.

Dexter was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and overall great guy. Although we didn't see the Mona monkeys the trip was wonderful

So where do I start? Michael is an amazing tour guide and gave me and my daughter a once in a lifetime experience. Not just a “tour”. We went off the beaten track, saw the entire island from south- west-north and east Beautiful time at Concord Falls. Ate chocolate at the chocolate factory. Saw rum factory (no tasting due to Covid). Had a wonderful local lunch at a local favorite with oil down- a local specialty. Saw many beaches, the rain forest. My personal favorite was the Atlantic Ocean beach at the north side of the island near Bathway Beach. Finally we also go to play with the Mona monkeys. Truly this was a once in a lifetime. Thank you to Michael in particular for making my day, and trip!!

As others have stated, Michael absolutely makes this tour worthwhile. He has such a vast knowledge of the country, which he eagerly shares, but more than that he has a bright and personable spirit that makes him a pleasure to be around. My favorite place, which isn't even officially on the tour, was the overbook at Bathway (pronounced Batway). It is such a peaceful spot, I literally could have stayed there for the remainder of the day. Because of Covid, the nutmeg and rum distillery tours were limited but still good to visit and educational.
