Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. Initially booked the full day tour for a Thursday, but was unable to go because the required minimum number of people was not met. So, I was contacted and rebooked for Friday. Was picked up directly from my hotel around 9AM and returned around 5:30PM. Overall, it was a really good experience. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about the island and showed us a variety of places. Definitely worth the time and money. It allowed you to see the island as a whole and get a general understanding of the lay out, its history, and what was around. I did it as the last day of my trip, but could definitely be done in the beginning as well. I think most would realize there is not much else to do on the island once you do this tour. There was enough time at each location and I doubt I would want to go back again after each stop. Bring a camera for sure if you have one. The day is pretty long. By the end of it, I wanted it to end about 1-1.5 hours earlier as at that point I had enough. The lunch quality was not that good and could have been improved upon, but I did not really mind all that much.

This trip went exactly as advertised, and takes up the whole day. Our guide/driver Rawly was exceptional at giving us details of both points of interest and daily life on the island. He also plucked leaves and picked nuts at each stop to show off the islands botanical bounty. The day was sunny, and you really need a non-rainy day to enjoy this tour. The waterfall/swim was the first stop, but there are rest rooms to change out of your wet swim clothes so you can be dry for the rest of the day. The natural swimming pool is quite small, and I was the only person in my group to swim. Get a swizzle stick at the waterfall! They are unique to Grenada, and I didn't see them for sale anywhere else on the tour. Lunch was good and the view fantastic. Eat a good breakfast, because we didn't stop for lunch until 1. The nutmeg/chocolate/rum sights were very interesting. Rawly brought bananas to attract monkeys at Grand Etang National Park. For anyone who needs a beach day break, this is a great option!

Our tour guy and group was awesome. Our overall experience was out of this world. Grenada over exceeded my expectations and this trip was a big part of it.
