Overview
This remarkable full-day tour, showing you the very best of Grenada in a day. See St. George's, the prettiest capital town in the Caribbean. Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. This tour was fun and interesting. Our guide, Michael, was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable about the island and its people. He stopped often to allow for pictures of the beautiful scenery and made sure we stayed safe. I would recommend this day tour to anyone. Ask for Michael.

On our third trip to Grenada in two years, we decided to add an extra day to do more than enjoy the exceptional underwater sites, beaches and coastline towns. Henry Safari Tours offered a full day tour that checked off all the sites that we were interested in seeing and the price was affordable. But this adventure was so much more than a site seeing tour. We learned so much about the history of the island, the impact of Ivan's devastation, the government, the economy, cultural aspects, health system, education from our tour guide Michael whose passion and pride for his country was so evident. He regaled us with stories that were expertly woven between our inland travel between the various parishes and sites. The roads were narrow and the traffic flow was skillfully navigated. The views along the way of this lush and colorful island were amazing. Michael stopped to make sure could capture the beauty. On our decent from points as high as 1910' we stopped at a restaurant where the food and fresh juice (included in the cost) was one of the tastiest we had while we were there. The Henry Safari Tour earned all five stars.....I would give Micheal 10 stars - he truly reflected what I've come to know about the genuine warmth of the people of Grenada.....it has become my favorite scuba destination in the Caribbean.

Following the cancellation of our day tour originally booked with our hotel, my wife and I resorted to searching for a tour company online. We found Henry safari tours and booked with minimal effort. We were picked up the following morning and were delighted to learn we were the only couple on the tour. Michael was our excellent tour guide who was extremely kind, knowledgeable and friendly. He was very happy to answer any questions and made regular stops for photo opportunities and to give a full up to date history of the sights/surroundings. A very humourous gentleman who made this day the highlight of our trip to Grenada. The nutmeg/cocoa factory and rum distillery were informative and interesting with the opportunity to purchase fresh and local produce. Our personal favourite moments were the visits to the waterfall and crater lake. Lunch was set in a beautiful surrounding at the nothern tip of the island, where we had authentic local cuisine and continued great conversation with the lovely Micheal. We would highly recommend Henry Safari tours. The cancelled hotel tour came as a blessing in disguise as we were able to have a great day out with Michael.
