Overview
This remarkable full-day tour, showing you the very best of Grenada in a day. See St. George's, the prettiest capital town in the Caribbean. Travel up the western coast and visit the picturesque Concord Waterfalls nestled in the lush mountains where you can be refreshed by swimming in the cool water. Visit the fishing town of Gouyave and the spice processing station, where you will see why our island is called the "Isle of Spice" then continue to the Diamond chocolate factory to taste and learn how chocolate is made. Have lunch at an authentic Grenadian restaurant, before heading to the Caribbean's oldest functional water-powered distillery before tasting its potent rum. The tour would not be complete without a visit to Grenada's interior and largest national park, to see the Grand Etang Lake and rainforest.

My husband and I did this whole day tour with Henry Safari Tours and we totally enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Michael was fantastic. We recommend this tour to everyone visiting Grenada.

Dexter is a font of information. He promptly picked the 2 of us up at our hotel at the designated time. There was no one else on the tour that day so we had him all to ourselves. He was willing to go with the flow and because there were only two of us, he added a couple of stops on the way. He laughed a joked with us. Concord falls is beautiful. take some cash with you, preferably small bills because you will likely get suckered into paying a young teen male (I think I remember is name being Devon) to do jumps from the top of the waterfall. Plus there are souvenir shops right outside with little trinkets and spices to buy. I made the mistake of have nothing less than a $100EC bill on me, that ended up being an ordeal because almost no one around could break it. I found that to be the case in a lot of places by the way. Next stop the nutmeg factory. they weren't currenlty processing so that tour was just meh. next after that was the Diamond Chocolate processing where they make Jouvay chocolate. Cool, but they were not also processing much there at the time. However, they have a small orchard adjacent that is very beautiful and part of the tour with things like chocoloate trees, nutmeg trees, turmeric, ginger and various other trees and plants growing. they let you sample the chocolate pod and raw processed nibs, and then their final finished product in various flavors. next was the Antoine River Valley Rum Distillery- That place is cool as heck! they process and distill the old fashioned way. Beware, the rum is nasty because they only make one kind, 75% white rum straight from distillery to bottle, so don't expect your taste buds to be as wowed as your eyes and noggins. Next stop Grand Etang- beautiful place, however, I would have liked a little more time to hike surrounding areas in the grand etang. however, I understand why there wasn't much time, there are only so many hours in the day. Oh well. still worth it. The lake is full of tilapia and koi. odd and non native, but cool none the less. Overall, I'd recommend this tour highly!

My daughter and I were visiting Grenada for one week. We decided to do this tour to really see as much as we could of the island. This was THE BEST all day tour I've ever done! We had Dexter as our tour guide and he was AWESOME. You are taken to several sights, so you get out of the van frequently - nutmeg, cocoa, rum, waterfalls, lunch....you get it all and the day really does fly by! Dexter is constantly giving you information about the vegetation, trees, herbs, fruits....what they use for medicine...etc. Super interesting. We were grouped with a few others we didn't know and it was just perfect. I really can't recommend this highly enough! GREAT DAY and very PROFESSIONAL company. We will def use Henry Safari again if we are lucky enough to be back to Grenada.
