The jet boat is not handicapped accessible but we are able to make exceptions on a case by case bases. Passengers will be required to sign a waiver.

There is nothing keeping you in the boat. I was on front row and nearly knocked the driver out of the boat. After I insisted on getting out of the boat my friend slid under the pedals/gears. In the ad they don’t tell they are going to do sharp “swirls”. My wife spent hours getting over motion sickness. I am an experienced boater and they do not fit life jackets properly.

Thank you for the opportunity to explain ourselves. The boat is a New Zealand style jetboat, with a Hamilton jet pump. This boat is novel to the United States, however, they have been operating in New Zealand since the 1960’s with millions of passengers safely riding over the past 60 years. We have been operating for 9 seasons with 10’s of thousands riders enjoying our service. There are handrails for each row of passengers to hold on to as well as footrest to provide additional support. The pedal is under the captains foot, there is no room to slide under and the gears are in an enclosed engine bay inaccessible for all passengers. Directly above your review in our business description which I will copy and paste it states: “Sun Time Watersports brings an adrenaline rush to Pier 21 in Galveston, Texas! Hold On! This thrill ride features right angle turns, accelerated speeds, and "The Hamilton Spin", a maneuver that rotates the boat 360 degree's on its axis.” Our life jackets are kayak style which feature 1 zipper that you zip up just like jacket or backpack to wear. We like to keep it simple so even an experienced boater can put them on correctly. We are sorry your wife was motion sick for hours hopefully one day it will make a good story to tell the grandkids about that time you rode with those rascals in Galveston :)
