Mine for gems and fossils along covered outdoor or indoor rushing water flumes. Keep what you find. Explore the property and visit the goats at the goat barn. Visit the aviary to see peacocks, pheasants and more. Explore NC’s largest crystal and fossil store.

We’ve been here a number of times and are thrilled with the improvements. We always have a great time. The staff is helpful and so friendly. I’ve been bringing my kids since they were little and they still love it every time even ow that they are teenagers!

We were visiting family in the area, had heard of someone doing this before, came to check it out on a whim, and I can’t believe we almost didn’t. It was SO MUCH FUN. The gem mining was an absolute blast (for two adults and a 9 yo, equally) and I could have spent all day in the store. What a great place!!
