Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Overview

Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

I love those ghost and supernatural shows on tv so I was very excited to go on a ghost tour. Dani was our guide and did a fantastic job bringing the stories to life but I thought the tour was much more historical rather than spooky. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in hearing more about town history and enjoys a good story but don't expect to be even slightly disturbed.

I am so glad I decided to go on this tour. I love historical stuff and I am fascinated by the paranormal, and this was the highlight of my visit to Gatlinburg. We learned a lot about the history of the area and its spirited past. I haven't really looked at my pictures to see if anything turned up, but I definitely felt spiritual presence at a couple places in the tour. My heart felt very heavy at the site of a tragic death and I could feel like someone was staring at me at from another building. Another person on the tour felt something touch his legs and when we looked, there was nothing there that could've done it. Our tour guide Rex clearly loves his job and he even hung out with us a little bit after the tour, walking back downtown with us and telling us some other stories about his experiences in Gatlinburg. It is a good walk, but you stop and rest a little and it's after dark so it's cooler out. It might be a challenge with a stroller or mobility impairments. I was also surprised how many kids went on the tour. I was leery at first, but they ended up being hilarious once they got into it!

This tour was a great experience for my boyfriend and me (22&21).Dani was our guide; she gave us an interesting take on the history of Gatlinburg. If you are looking for something to do at night when you are here, I would DEFINITELY recommend the Haunted Ghost Tours of Gatlinburg.
