Ghost and Haunt Tour of Gatlinburg

Overview
Walk the back roads of Gatlinburg and learn about its haunted history and folklore on this nighttime tour. With a guide, you'll learn how you, too, can capture paranormal photos. Use ghost-hunting equipment like you see on tv to potentially communicate with ghosts along the way.
The tour is an outdoor walking tour as such there is plenty of room for social distancing and masks are optional, It is wheelchair and stroller accessible and service animals are allowed.
Unfortunately, due to the late completion time, the Trollys don’t run that late but we do offer free parking and of course, taxis and Uber, Lyft are available.
The walk is about one mile all on flat paved ground spread out over 2 hours with lots of stops so a messy relaxing walk but no places to sit or restrooms are available during the tour.
This is not a private tour groups can be as large as the upper 20’s in the busiest times but average in the high teens to low 20’s.

So, this wasn’t bad depending on what you are looking for, it just wasn’t what I was looking for. If you are looking to get your hands on some “Ghost Adventures” style equipment and get to play with it for a few hours and see if you catch anything, then go for it and you will probably enjoy it. If, you are used to more classical ghost tours like those I have been to in Boston, Williamsburg, Gettysburg, and Salem, this may not be for you. I am not really interested in catching ghosts. I am more interested in stories, folklore, and the talent of the storyteller to captivate. I also really enjoy getting into or near older buildings. There were a lot of parking lots and places where buildings use to be on this tour. It dragged on a bit. Take home message - do your research and do it only if you are looking for a ghost hunting EMP experience. If you are looking for entertainment or history - it isn’t with the money.

Hmmmm, well everyone has there own opinion, but you get lots of stories, history and folklore. We also provide equipment for those that want to try to use it on the tour, if that’s not you ok, you still get all of the history and stories.

This was such a wonderful tour! I have come to Gatlinburg for over 30 years and this is the first Ghost Tour I have taken. I learned so much about the history of this amazing town and the people that lived and died here and may still be around 😉. Pete was our guide and he was so knowledgeable. He took the time to answer questions and showed us how to use the equipment. My teenage son absolutely loved the tour and enjoyed using some of the equipment. He was patient and accommodating as there was a lot of walking and some on the tour moved at a slower pace. I think I even caught something on my camera! We will do the tour/investigation on our next trip to Gatlinburg! 10 out of 10!! Highly recommend!!
