What To Expect
1
Lalaurie Mansion
Some spooky things went down here and those slaves that were tortured are now said to haunt the building. It was also the home of Nicholas Cage for some time. I'll share with you it's dark past. We will not go in, on our tour we only visit the outside of each site.
2
Old Ursuline Convent Museum
As legend has it the Casket Girls arrived to the Ursuline Convent. Many of them were looking for grooms. But a few of them brought Vampires along for the ride. Those Vampires now live in New Orleans. We will not go in, on our tour we only visit the outside of each site.
3
Madame John's Legacy
This old building is one of the last remaining wooden buildings in New Orleans. It's also haunted by it's past. We will not go in, on our tour we only visit the outside of each site.
4
Pat O'Brien's
We will stop by the entrance of the haunted bar and hear the story of the ghosts that lurk inside.
5
Fritzel's European Jazz Bar
The tour ends here and you'll have a chance, if you got the password earlier in the tour, to enter the vampire speak easy.

Great tour, very informative the narrator and background noise kept it interesting. This is such a cool concept to have a self guided tour it was easy to follow and allowed us to take breaks and go at our own pace

The content was good and all the sites were surprisingly close to each other. I donā€™t think we ever walked for over 3-4 minutes between locations. Good app (you must download it). The app had a built in navigation system that made it easy to stay on course (an arrow would overlay on the map). I was shocked at how simple and effective it was. The narrator did a good job of making sure he verbally oriented you so you didnā€™t head the wrong way on a busy street.

Very easy and cost effective way to learn about the haunted history of the French Quarter....do at your own pace. Just wish the directions for the walking would have been a bit easier to decipher....maybe consider using a map program on one phone in conjunction with this app running on a different phone. New Orleans streets are a bit tricky and not all are marked with street signs.
