What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This was my second trip this year and today was another awesome trip. We saw a half dozen black bear, the same number of moose and mountain sheep. If in Alaska, you must book this trip. The beauty cannot be described, the glaciers and mountains are unforgettable.

This was the highlight of our honeymoon trip. The views from the large windows of the helicopter was so much better than what I have experienced in the flightseeing planes. The ride was very smooth and pilot was personable. Drinking some glacier water at the top was refreshing! We had PERFECT weather for flying and will look back fondly on that trip as one of the coolest things we have done as husband and wife. Thank you!

It was awesome chatting with the pilot and learning all the terrain we were flying by. Recommend bringing a water bottle if you do the glacier landing to bring home the best water you’ll ever have!
