Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Weight limit is 290 lbs per seat (and a combined max of 600 lbs for 3 passengers).

What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

Girdwood

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Wow- what an amazing experience. The staff were so professional and knowledgeable. The transportation from Anchorage was entertaining. But the views if the glaciers were out-of-this-world!

WOW!! Hard to put into words how amazing the scenery and the experience of helicoptering to the glacier was. The deep blue ice and ice formations blew me away. Our pilot Nick was the coolest. We took the morning one hour flight and this was the perfect capstone to our Alaska vacation. Alpine Air Alaska runs a high class operation. 5+ stars!

Words seldom can describe this experience alone; photos themselves still won’t even do it justice. This is an incredibly fortunate opportunity if you chose to do this. You will witness some of the most stunning and beautiful views of your life, in completely untamed land. Unless you’ve done a helicopter tour like this, it will truly be unlike anything you’ve ever done. We had an amazing experience, handled by incredible professionals from the team loading us in to our astounding pilot. This experience is worth its weight in gold, no doubt. I’d book it again in a heartbeat.
