Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Weight limit is 290 lbs per seat (and a combined max of 600 lbs for 3 passengers).

What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

Girdwood

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Originally a little hesitant to book because sometimes get motion sick. Wow! So glad we booked!! Couldn't decide if should spend extra for glacier landing. Again, wow! Seeing the colors and size while walking on a glacier ... No words can describe adequately. We had beautiful weather and the opportunity to extend trip out over Prince William Sound. After spending time in the helicopter and knowing how amazing it was, we extended the tour. Again, wow! Reflections in the water; glacier breaking into pieces and sliding down; seals sunbathing; overall beautiful unspoiled beauty. Amazing! Beautiful! The experience was more than we could have hoped. The care and friendliness of the staff from start to finish was perfect. Our pilot provided a smooth flight and great commentary. If you have the opportunity to take tours with this group, don't hesitate!

This was an incredible experience. The guides were great and once I got over my hesitation of helicopters, it is an amazing way to see parts of Alaska that others will never get to. Guides were amazing and we landed on a glacier right next to a beautiful pool with a waterfall. Highly recommend!

I have flown with Alpine Air several times over the years. It is a must do for friends and relatives from out of state. The owner and staff are very conscientious about safety, equipment and customer service as well as your enjoyment of the experience. The scenery they can show you is beyond beautiful and belief. I would highly recommend any trip you choose; they are all exceptional.
