Small infants under walking age can sit on an adults lap and fly free
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
Weight limit is 290 lbs per seat (and a combined max of 600 lbs for 3 passengers).

What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

Girdwood

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

This was a very professional helicopter tour with landing on glacer. Pilot and crew were very good and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

This was the coolest thing I have ever done. Ty was my pilot, and he was very good about pointing out animals (moose, bears, etc) and telling us facts about the things we saw. We also landed on a glacier which was amazing

We were on our way to Whittier when our tour operator recommended Alpine Air Alaska for a helicopter ride with glacier landing. They were very accomodating as our request was accepted on the spur of the moment. The pilot was very informative and the staff were very professional emphasizing on safety. The glacier landing was spectacular and the scenery was excellent.Highly recommended excursion!
