What To Expect

Alpine Air Alaska

Your tour starts at our hangar at the Girdwood airport where you will receive a short safety briefing and board the helicopter for your flight to see spectacular glaciers and mountains. We ask all guests to arrive 15 minutes before your tour departure time.

Chugach National Forest

Fly over the glaciers and mountains of Alaska's Chugach range.

We are located in the scenic ski resort town of Girdwood, located about 40 miles south of Anchorage, Alaska. While in Girdwood, check out the great hiking trails and visit the Resort Alyeska after your flight with us!

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The views from above were beyond amazing, something you’d never see from the ground. Also the staff was wonderful, particularly the pilot (John) who was so knowledgeable & courteous to my 80-year old father. Thank you, thank you!!

The whole experience was amazing. From the helicopter flight to exploring on the glacier plus the fact that it was a perfect day made this one of the all time favorite things I have ever done!

Alpine Air Alaska accommodated us last minute and provided an amazing experience. From check in to check out, they were professional, welcoming, and kind. Our pilot, John, was experienced, well-spoken, and so knowledgeable - we wished he could show us all of Alaska. 😊The flight was soooo smooth and we felt safe throughout. And the views will take your breath away. We enjoyed Alaska through and through, despite some dodgy weather at times, but this experience alone would have made the entire trip worthwhile. Highly recommend.
