This self-drive tour takes you through the Downtown and Old Town areas of San Diego, but you will also pass through other thriving areas such as Little Italy, The Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, Mission Hills and Presidio Park. Balboa Park

Drive through Balboa Park, a stunning 1,200 acre park in the middle of San Diego. Its diversity of Spanish Renaissance Architecture, museums for all interests, gardens, and the outdoor pavilion make it a great place to explore in your GoCar.

Gaslamp Quarter

Make your way into the Gaslamp Quarter which was once San Diego’s red-light district and see how it has been re-imagined into the social scene it is today

Old Town San Diego State Historic Park

Old Town San Diego is where you can see how San Diego looked in the old west where its Spanish and American residents formed a thriving community

San Diego Zoo

Drive by the San Diego Zoo, one of the most renowned zoos in the world and is home to over 12,000 rare and endangered animals.

Presidio Park

Your jump into history will take you past Historic Fort Stockton, into Presidio Park where the old Spanish Mission used to stand.

This was a fun way to see the basics of the city; we only had 24 hours! Usually, I like to drive myself, but my husband and I rode in the same car. It was tight, but the navigation was tricky because some roads were blocked.

My friends and I are from NY! We stayed in LA but decided to spend a day in San Diego and it was the best decision ever! We Had a blast. The scenic route we took was amazing. Im into motorcycles, go carts, 4 wheeler, and so many other adventurous things to do so this was definitely a great experience. Would definitely do again

My boyfriend and I were only in town for two days and we’ve never been to San Diego so we were looking for an event that would show us a lot in a short amount of time. And we were NOT disappointed! We took the two-hour GoCar tour and found it very enjoyable with enough time to explore what we wanted to! 10/10 will recommend :)) P.s. It helped that the mechanics of the vehicle came very naturally to him, if I was driving I could see myself having a difficult time to get accustomed to the vehicle.
