What To Expect

Adventure Sixty North

The canvas-covered log framed structure where we pan for gold is located just across from our walking bridge, between our office and the gift shop. Depending on the salmon run, we can often spy salmon in the creek. The covered troughs allow us to stay dry while panning, which makes this the perfect activity, rain or shine!

This was a great experience. The panning location is right behind the building in a covered area which was nice because it was cold and rainy. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. This is a kid friendly experience.

Larry had so much information about gold and the tribes in Alaska. He was also very patient with us.
