Grand Canyon Caverns, Route 66 with Electric Vehicle Museums Tour

Overview
The Route 66 Museum is truly unique in that it is a museum of history, housed in a historical building that lighted the way for the earliest Route 66 travelers. The building, built between 1907 & 1911, powered early Kingman and area mines starting in July 1909. It also supplied power for the construction of Hoover Dam, until the Dam began producing cheaper hydroelectric power in the late 1930s.
The Route 66 Electric Vehicle Museum, is the first of its kind anywhere. This Museum includes twenty-nine (and counting) vehicles on loan from the Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation, with members worldwide.
The tour begins with an elevator ride down 21 stories (210 feet) to the Chapel of the Ages cavern, the scene of numerous weddings throughout the years and large enough to hold two football fields. Your guide will tell you about the history of these awesome Caverns. Afterward, we will grab lunch (optional) at one of our area's favorite eateries.

We had a great day touring the Grand Canyon caverns and two wineries. Bob picked us up on time at the hotel with a very clean and comfortable van. He provided us with tidbits of information as we drove to the caverns. I would recommend this tour with Bob!
