Due to comfort and weight / balance of the aircraft, passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg or 21 stone) will be required to purchase an additional seat. This is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the tour.

What To Expect

Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Experience the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air and ground on this helicopter tour from Las Vegas. After being picked up from your hotel approx 90 minutes prior to the flight time listed, you'll be driven to the heliport where you’ll board your air-conditioned Eco-Star helicopter. On your way to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, soar over Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead.

Hoover Dam

As you fly over the Hoover Dam, you'll be left in awe at this particularly spectacular sight from the air, curved between the rock canyon walls. Marvel at this architectural wonder and enjoy the amazing views of the recently built bypass bridge. During your flight, you can listen to a recorded commentary about the Grand Canyon and its surrounds via headphones.

Grand Canyon West

As you reach the Grand Canyon and fly deeper and further into the canyon than any other helicopter tour, land on a private bluff overlooking the flowing Colorado River. From this incredible perch over 3,000 feet below the canyon rim, toast to your experience with a glass of Champagne and a light snack. While you celebrate and relax under an authentic Native American ramada shelter, your pilot will be happy to answer any questions you have about the canyon or your helicopter flight.

The Strip

Back in the helicopter, enjoy another 45-minute flight back to Las Vegas, this time flying over the world famous Strip. When you land, your transportation will be waiting to whisk you back to your hotel. Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

Perfect from we got picked up until we were dropped off. Never been in a helicopter before so was nervous. The whole experience was very professionally run and our Pilot Elliott was great. Loved every second, one of the best experiences of my life.

Everything was nicely organized, we were picked up by the company shuttle on time at our hotel and given clear instructions once we arrived at the airport. We didn’t have to wait long (about 10 minutes) when a group of pilots were calling us by group number. There were 6 passengers plus the pilot in the helicopter, we all got to move and take turns in different spots of the helicopter. There are 2 stops (one inside the Grand Canyon and one to refuel). Our pilot Peter was very informative, funny, and made everything comfortable for us. We enjoyed an assortment of soft drinks, champagne, water, peanuts and pretzels as our snack. I do recommend comfortable clothes that are breathable, we did work up a sweat by facing the sun inside the helicopter heading towards the Grand Canyon. The helicopter is a/c but not unbearable. We were given lots of water and a cold towel to help. I would still highly recommend this tour.

Picked up from hotel as arranged, very short trip to air field, just enough safety briefing then up and away. Hunter pointed out key things on the journey and made it interesting. Landing in the Canyon was a really great experience. Coming back it was great to go down the Strip in the evening, a total contrast from where we had just been. This trip is expensive but well worth it, factor it into the cost of your holiday - it’s a one off.
