The name of our tour was "Grand Canyon with Ruins" $189pp leaving from Sedona. Lunch was included, though we did not have it ourselves. We were picked up from Arabella hotel at 7:25am by a delightful tour guide/driver named Andrea Corral. She has lived in Sedona for 20+ years so is v knowledgeable of the area. The van seated about 10 passengers, but there were only 7 of us altogether so room to move! Andrea was very personable, spoke clearly and audibly for the back of the van, and filled us in with facts of the different areas we drove through or stopped at (the Wupatki pueblo ruins, the Navajo Nation and the south rim and Grand Canyon village). She was a careful driver. This tour was a great way to see the Grand Canyon in a short timeframe, without the hassle of getting park passes and parking a vehicle. We entered the south rim gate from the east end, no vehicle queue at all. On the way there we got to see Little Colorado canyon, one of the largest side canyons - 45 mi long starting at Cameron on the Navajo nation where we'd had lunch, and Marble canyon (where you can actually see the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon, unlike at the more western main gate Access point). We had plenty of pitstops for toilet breaks and/or shipping. At the rim we had about an hour to wander, sightsee or walk down the Bright Angel trail for about 1k. It was closed below that for maintenance. I would highly recommend this tour as an introduction to the Grand Canyon and seeing it hassle free. We'll be back to see it in more depth!!
