By far our most popular private hiking tour, this hike and sightseeing tour offers guests varying views of the Canyon, from the inside out. This tour is for guests who want to enjoy an excellent tour of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but also spend some time below the Rim.

Enjoy a great tour with a knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic guide who loves what they do. We provide door-to-door service from your stay place with everything you need to have a great time. Grab your camera and leave the lunch, snacks, beverages, hiking equipment, and driving to us! We pick up in the following towns: Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon.

What To Expect

Yavapai Point

We start the day with a viewpoint where your guide will give a hiking orientation.

South Kaibab Trail

The hiking portion of this tour will traverse 3/4 of a mile down the South Kaibab to Ooh Aah Point and then go back up the same way you came. Weather and crowd permitting you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the viewpoint. This delicious lunch is made by Brandy's restaurant the morning of your tour. All your gear, such as backpacks and trekking poles is provided.

Grand Canyon South Rim

The rest of the day is spent traveling to various viewpoints along the South Rim in a comfortable air conditioned van or SUV. At each viewpoint we will exit the vehicle and your guide will spend time showing you views through the provided spotting scope and regale you with interpretation that includes information about the plants, animals, peoples, history, and archaeology of the Grand Canyon. The viewpoints included depend on weather, time of year, crowds, and guide preference. They may include, but are not limited to: Mather Point, Grandview Point, Moran Point, Tusayan Ruins, and Desert View Watchtower.

The All-Star Grand Canyon Tour Company is simply the best. Ben was our guide and we toured the Grand Canyon for a full day with him. The history, geological information, lunch and snacks were impressive. VIP service and tailor made for our family. The thoughtful attention to safety was much appreciated and of course was a key ingredient for us having a relaxing and enjoyable adventure with All-Star Grand Canyon Tours. We had an absolutely amazing 3 day 2 night trip into the Grand Canyon. We stayed at Indian Garden campground for two nights and explored a lot of the canyon. Donnie Stockwell was our guide. He is amazingly helpful, knowledgable about the canyon, engaging, and a great cook! The four of us agreed that it was one of the best experiences of our lives. Donnie always helped with a smile, even when one of our group got sick right at the base of the Canyon. Others from All Star pitched in and helped our sick member get back to Flagstaff early, which was a godsend. We could not recommend All Star and Donnie more. You absolutely will not regret this life-altering experience!

Friends and I recently returned from a whirlwind trip to the Grand Canyon and Kanab. At the Grand Canyon, we were lucky to be guided by Ben Murphy, whose knowledge, personality and sense of humor made an already-amazing destination that much more special. From a spotless vehicle, to a perfect lunch, to a sunset Happy Hour in a secluded spot where our only company were the ravens and other Canyon wildlife, he made the experience unique and unforgettable. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that, even though none of us are campers, we intend to return for a backpacking/rafting trip in the Canyon with All-Star!
