Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
Your expert guide will meet you at the Pavilion next to the Upper Falls Parking Area at 8AM. This is also the staring point for Uncle Tom's Trail. The hike is a 6-mile loop. The hike is along the Canyon Rim, through the forest out to Ribbon Lake, and then past a geyser basin, Clear Lake, and the Wapiti Meadows with big views of the Hayden Valley. If you hike one trail in Yellowstone this is it!

Great hike - a few challenging hills. Met new friends and Emily Jo was fun! She was prepared for everything and took us into the back country too!

Our guide was energetic and knowledgeable. If you are physically able, this is the best way to explore this part of Yellowstone. It is best to wear hiking boots because those that wore tennis shoes struggled. Wear layers due ever changing weather including poncho. Food provided. I drank 2 20 oz waters which you need to bring. They provided walking poles which helped on climbs and slippery paths. You can make the trek even if out of moderate shape but be prepared to hit the sack early afterwards. TP and wipes provided for women as nature is your restroom. Very enjoyable morning and worth the money. I would not have explored this far without a guide

Not only were the views spectacular but our guide, Kim, had immense knowledge of the fauna & flora! She was upbeat, positive and really fun. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Oh yes, she greeted us at our meet up spot with hot coffee & coco! We had a very generous bag lunch.
