Josh was a great guide and very knowledgeable. We saw a pack of wolves from quite far away. But then he took us to a closer location where we could see them better with binoculars. He also was able to spot a big grizzly with 2 cubs with his naked eye. He was great at helping us find where he was seeing all the animals. On the hike we also saw 2 bald eagles a ton of bison and a pronghorn. On the walk back to the parking lot one lone wolf was very close to us and Josh pointed him out to us, so we could all see him without the help of binoculars. Josh made sure that we were never too close to be put in danger and we were just observing them from a safe distance. A great way to get some exercise and see some amazing animals in the wild. Would highly recommend.

Josh was an outstanding guide. The hike was fantastic with lots of wildlife including Wolves, Pronghong, Bison, and more. The scenery was unbelievable. Can't recommend the Lamar Valley Hike enough if you enjoy hiking outdoors. Covid-19 prevention was strickly enforced with masks when needed and proper social distancing.

The Lamar Safari Hike was one of the highlights of our visit to Yellowstone. It was an incredible opportunity to get off the beaten path and get an intimate sense of the area's eco system. Josh was a super guide: very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of the Park and surrounding region and very personable. I also appreciated his laser sharp focus on safety. I highly recommend this trip for those that want to experience the Park in its natural setting.
