We loved this hike along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone Park. The views, vegetation, trees, water- just everything was beautiful! Emily Jo was so informative about the bear markings, trail markings, history, etc... We highly recommend this hike and Emily Jo!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on Josh's hiking tour of Lamar Valley. We got some amazing views of wildlife and of the landscape. The whole thing felt very authentic and was a much better value than some of the van tours that I was looking at before I found this. The hike was definitely an even pace and suitable for all ages. Would definitely recommend binoculars, there was a couple of times it was useful to have them. This was our favorite activity during our time in Yellowstone, would definitely recommend!

We booked a Lamar Valley hiking tour for Labor Day 2020. When the weather was forecasted to be unseasonably cold (15 degrees) and with snow I reached out to Josh about possibly rescheduling. Josh was very responsive and accommodating offering to reschedule our date, if desired. We went ahead with our scheduled hike and, even though it started out cold and with snow on the ground, it turned out to be a spectacular hike, Josh was very personable and knowledgeable. We went off the beaten path (official trails) and saw all manner of wildlife up close. As the day warmed up we paused for a lunch/snack along the river. I highly recommend Josh and Yellowstone Hiking Guides.
