We took the Lamar Valley hike with Josh which turned out to be great fun. We also went on a hike to Trout Lake with Emily Jo and took another hike near Yellowstone Picnic area due to Bison activity on the trails in the Trout Lake area. Emily Jo always kept us safe throughout the hike especially in light of the Bison preparing themselves for the rut, showing aggression. They're both knowledgeable hiking guides, personable and they are familiar with the areas we hiked to. Their hiking tours are also very reasonable compared to the other hiking outfitters in Yellowstone. My husband and I highly recommend this hiking outfit. They really go out of their way to make the experience special due to their knowledge about the wildlife, geology, and the fauna in the area. Thanks for 2 wonderful days of hiking Josh and Emily Jo,

Two of us went on the Lone Star Geyser tour with Josh and it was awesome! He had great snacks, hiking poles, and bear spray ready for us. The hike was challenging, but we went at our own pace. I appreciate a tour guide who is big on safety, both of his guests and the animals. One thing to note- be patient when meeting up! Buffalo jams are real, and cell service is terrible, so everyone may need to wait for just a bit before all the parties get there. Your patience will be rewarded with an amazing hike filled with beautiful scenery and lots of information about the park and its animals.

Our family (husband, wife, and daughter) enjoyed a great hike from Emily Jo in early June when the snow was still on the mountain top. Our daughter enjoyed playing in the snow and our family learned some great new experiences. We were able to see some great wildlife also - otters in lakes, yellow bellied marmots, gray squirrels, blue birds, elk, and two grizzly cubs from a distance. Spring wildflowers were also beginning to bloom. The hike was probably the highlight of our visit to Yellowstone park away from the crowds and traffic and enjoying the solitude of the park trails with a knowledgeable person to guide us. We were also able to see the Grand Tetons at the top since it was such a great clear day. Lunch at the top of the mountain was fantastic also. We look forward to our next visits.
