We were able to do two hikes with Josh and Emily Jo and it was amazing. To be able to stand in the Lamar Valley amongst all of the bison and pronghorn walking by was the best part of the trip. Josh and Emily (and Rachael) were very friendly and patient to ensure that everyone had a great experience. The pace up Bunsen Peak was set to the pace of the slowest hiker (me) and for that, it was greatly appreciated. The views were spectacular. We highly recommend any opportunity to take a walk/hike with this team. It will be worth your while to get off the park road and pull-outs and really experience what the park has to offer.

We took a tour of Lamar Valley with Josh. We feel that we really got to enjoy the real beauty of Yellowstone on this guided tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area, the animals, and the history of Yellowstone. He answered all the questions we had and helped us discover unique finds on our hike. In addition to what youā€™d expect to find on this hike, like bison and pronghorn, we found a animals bones, heard a wolf howl, found petrified wood, and saw a badger just to name a few. Josh provided a delicious picnic lunch along the beautiful river as well. As a follow up to our tour, Josh provided us with some action-shot photos from our hike. This guided tour was the highlight of our trip to Yellowstone. We would definitely recommend Yellowstone Hiking Guides and hope to take another tour with them again soon!

I had to cancel out my hikes at the last minute. Weather problems prevented my flight connections and I was not able to reach Yellowstone. Josh refunded the cost of my hikes without a problem -I hadn't even asked for a refund. I very much appreciate his integrity and look forward to hiking with him in the future.
