My partner and I hiked the Lamar Valley with Josh and had a wonderful experience. The weather was a bit cold and rainy but Josh loaned us extra clothing before heading out and we were fine. We saw many animals, plants and birds and even a moose. The hiking and pace was easy and Josh was attentive, engaging and very knowledgeable. He knows plants, animals, both natural and human history of the region. The company is professional, safety conscious and client focused. I had researched a variety of tour options and much preferred getting out and hiking as opposed to a vehicle focused trip.

Thanks for the great day in the Lamar! There's so much to see, especially with the weather cool for the animals. It was a pleasure getting to know you on the trail. We look forward to seeing you on the trail again in Yellowstone. Best, Josh

My husband and I were in Yellowstone to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Josh,Emily, and Megan gave us an opportunity to see the ā€œreal Yellowstoneā€. They were fun and knowledgeable and made sure that every single participant had an amazing experience. We have so many wonderful memories of our trip and we are so thankful that we used Yellowstone Hiking Guides.

My partner and I just spent a wonderful 2 days of hiking with Yellowstone Hiking Guides. Yesterday's tour in the Lamar Valley was gentle walking in an area full of amazing wildlife, including bison, pronghorn, elks, sandhill crane, mountain bluebird, kestrel and lesser scaup. A great atmosphere in a wonderful setting, with beautiful weather. Today's walk was more strenuous, uphill to the summit of Bunsen Peak, with only Emily as our guide and both of us. A wonderful day in great company, where Emily guided us skillfully through the wilderness. This was our first visit to Yellowstone, and these 2 hiking trips made this visit extra special!

Hey you two! I had such a blast climbing Bunsen with both of you. Quite the storm, but perfect company to wait for it to pass. You two make a difference in this world, and we thank you both for your work! Lets go mushroom hunting sooner than later! Best wishes and happy trails! Emily Jo and Josh
