The Grand Canyon Railway was just a wonderful way to get from Williams AZ to the Grand Canyon. We chose one of the glass topped train cars and the view was spectacular. During part of the ride we were entertained by a county western singer strumming his guitar. Food and drinks of all kinds were available in our car. The restored train is something to see and even more impressive to ride in! Staff provided helpful information about the Grand Canyon plus a great map of the area we would be visiting. Interesting to see how everyone had fun - from the kids to the grandparents. A big plus is getting to interact with people from many different states - and even different foreign countries during the ride.

We live in Arizona and have been to the Grand Canyon before, but never taken the train. It was nice to have someone do the "driving" while you relax and enjoy. The old rail cars are beautiful.

We loved this train adventure even more than we anticipated. We booked the trip because we thought our girls (8 and 10) would enjoy the train ride and also because we wanted a break from having to drive in/out of parks. In the end, it was so much more for all of us. Our guide Mercedes was energetic and informative, the scenery was beautiful, and we saw elk and some other wildlife. Our girls really enjoyed the train "robbery" and loved grabbing a snack in the cafe car. I didn't have a lot of time to research Grand Canyon National Park before we arrived so I really appreciated Mercedes' tips and recommendations. Without them, I wouldn't have known what was possible to accomplish in our three-hour visit. We all had a wonderful day and would recommend this to family and friends who visit the area. Thanks for a fun day!
