We love this service to GCNP! We booked the observation dome to the park and pullman from the park. The dome provided a great view of the ever changing landscape. The seats were like tour bus seats without the recline. All faced front. It’s a relatively small but comfortable space. Thankfully there were no annoying patrons or the two hours would have been a nightmare. The “buffet” provided was mini muffins, danishes, bananas and apples. Soft drinks, coffee, and tea were available at no charge. Alcohol could be purchased. There was a singer on board who was great, but honestly, that space is too small for additional people or music. It was air conditioned. I would recommend doing the dome at least once. The Pullman car was a completely different experience. It was loud, breezy, and the seats were well worn bench seats. There were no complimentary snacks, but the cafe car was the next car away. You could really hear and feel the train from these seats, as it is an open air car. Although it was much louder than the dome, everyone was very respectful and seemed to be having a great time. I would recommend the Pullman if you don’t mind the breeze and noise. Two very different experiences but both enjoyable. The staff on board were great. Very friendly. Our Pullman host Moffitt was extremely knowledgeable about trains and you could tell really enjoyed working there. We could have done without the train “robbery” at the end, but it didn’t ruin our trip. This was definitely a no hassle way to travel to the GCNP. Would do it again!

Awesome experience, fun cowboy show prior to ride, saw two elk on ride back, mountain goat in the park. Had enough time to see pictographs on partial trail trek. Gorgeous views, plenty to see in three hours you are there!
