The Park Service is limiting group sizes to 9, while we are not putting multiple groups in a van, which can mean we have limited availability. We encourage everyone to wear masks & it has been mandated for our guides by Coconino County.

What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

What a day. Only 5 +Jake the guide. All Dave's guides are geologists and the tour was not only sightseeing but lots of historical info about how the canyon was formed. Rate as 10 on a 5 figure skale!!!!

This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon. Instead of just seeing the sights, we had an excellent tour guide for the day, Dora! She shared her knowledge of the Grand Canyon, the history and geology of the surrounding area and treated us to a wonderful wildlife experience. Dora is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and passion for the area so others can learn to enjoy it as much as she does.

We just did a full day tour with Dora on 10/19/14. Couldn't ask for a better tour guide. For us, the geology class was the highlight as we had no idea that was part of the deal. Dora also shared with us has real life experiences on the rapids of the Colorado River and hiking into the Grand Canyon. Great way to spend the day. We always take a tour while visiting new cities and locations and Dora is one of the best tour guides we have been fortunate to meet.
