What To Expect

Grand Canyon South Rim

Your tour starts from your Flagstaff hotel with morning pickup by a knowledgeable, informative local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of the geology and natural history explanations of how the Grand Canyon came to be.

Our second tour with Canyon Dave's Tours. Four years ago with Dora as our guide and this time with Brittain as our guide. Took 14 year old grandson. Brittain has an extraordinary interest and education in many facets of the Grand Canyon. We had our own advance degreed geologist and he used terminology that we novices could understand and really piqued the interest of grandson Matt. His advice for our free day following this tour was right on. We enjoyed looking for Condors with his advice.

Wow. What a blast. Canyon Dave gave pictures of time as allegories illustrating the history of Grand Canyon in a maginficent way. Even our teenagers loved Daves stories. If Dave had been my professor, I would have become a geologist.

Great time on this tour. Had more personal attention with this company. Whitney and Dora were extremely knowledgeable. They did not rush us and we learned so much about the Grand Canyon as well as Arizona. These two guides definitely love working with people as well as Arizona. Definitely satisfied,
