We could have toured Grand Canyon on our own but was advised to do a guided tour with Canyon Dave Tours, we are so glad we did. Dora certainly knows the Canyon and it's make up as well as the people who live in and around Grand Canyon. Hearing how Grand Canyon was formed, and that it is still and always forming, was of so much more value than if we toured alone. With her eagle eye Dora will spot and point out things that you likely will not spot on your own, like the mule train coming out of the canyon on the trail in the attached photo. Would we have seen this? I doubt it. Bring your camera and a good zoom lens but binoculars are provided. If you go during off season you might get lucky and be the only ones on the tour like we were, given it's a quiet time of year. Either way you will be impressed with Dora and Canyon Dave Tours. You never feel rushed and you gain a wealth of knowledge from Dora. Highly recommend Canyon Dave Tours.

Our 4 hour tour of the Grand Canyon rim with Dora (retired Biologist and Park Ranger) was fascinating. We learned a lot about the ecosystems, history and geology of the canyon - always interesting when the information is presented by someone so passionate about the area. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants more out of a tour than just a photo op -although there were plenty of those as well!
