We booked the trip from Williams for a day trip out. Brittan was our guide and he was a great guy. There was only us two on the trip as it was a quiet day, but the tour still went ahead. This trip and seeing the canyon with someone who knew the area made a massive difference. The Grand Canyon was the highlight of our three week Roadtrip and glad we did it. I'm a firm believer in doing these smaller guided tours as you get to know and see more also for the price it was a great day out from 8.30 to 4.30!!

This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon and were so fortunate to find Canyon Dave's Canyon Tours. Dora ("Mrs. Canyon Dave") has a Biology degree and Park Service background among other things. Dave is a geologist so the trip consists of not only numerous stops at amazing view spots, which we could have done on our own, but also includes lessons and insights into the geology, history, biology, folklore, and Native American culture in the region. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and were whisked away for a full day of learning and sightseeing in a comfortable air conditioned van. They bring snacks, drinks, buy lunch for you at an authentic trading post on a Navajo reservation , provide binoculars, chairs for the geology hands-on lesson. All you need are suitable clothing and your camera, the trip is not physically demanding and is suitable for all ages. Quite frankly I feel if anything ,the services provided are under-priced.

We booked this trip through Cobalt Escapes - which we also highly recommend! This is a full day tour with a very knowledgeable guide (Dora) with many stops and photo opportunities. Not only did we get to see the stunning views of the Grand Canyon, but Dora explained the geology and history of the area. Lunch was also provided on the Navajo reservation - more food than we could manage! What a day! We would highly recommend this trip for anyone looking for the Canyon experience without having to hike.
